Jay,
I just had to stop through and give you kudos! This is explosive and captivating. I’ve been glued to my computer screen for the last hour and a half reading this. I didn’t even want to answer my phone!

I enjoyed the dialogue, SMART AND TO THE POINT. The protagonist still needs work though, I mean, initially I felt Kanjia would be a life changing force….this is a great start

Now this is what I call power. I haven’t read anything in a while, been writing but man I’m glad I stopped writing The King of Erotica 5 for this brilliant piece right here. I will read it a second time. I really enjoyed this, and you have a strong voice. I hope you never give up on that voice because this is art my brothah.

Ok. I read it through in sections and am going to go back and re-read it all the way through because it was a truly enjoyable piece. Even though I don’t know them personally, I can tell you matter of factly that you have made your English teachers proud. I mean a brother used similes, metaphors and provided details that draws the reader in to the point where I could see the story unfold with your descriptions.
The ability to do that is key to the difference between a good writer and a great story teller. You show your ability to infuse your writing with personality and street venacular simultaneously. With all the selections available today, writers have to ask what would make a person want to read what I wrote?
You have the ability to answer that question. I didn’t care how long it took me, I was vested. Almost as if to borrow a movie phrase, “you had me at hello”.
Great story, great attention to detail. Great twist that I didn’t see coming. I look forward to more of your work. ’09 Baby, Baby!
